Hello everybody,

I have just registered on here today, in the hope that someone might be able to help me out with a problem I'm having.

I have a 99-00, 1.6, 205. It has an original Blaupunkt stereo with 6-cd changer in the boot, and a stalk to the right of the steering wheel to control said stereo.

Now and again, the stalk will cease to function. The only way of controlling the stereo is the stereo itself!

But, the on/off button on the stereo wont respond, but it will decide itself when it switches off. When it does, I turn the stereo on again, and the stalk will function as normal. Also, on the mfd, the station number and the fm signal indicator will dissappear!

This can happen between 1 and 20 times a week...its so unpredictable!

Any advice?

Thank you.
