I love my angel eyes, i had them on my 106 and they were never a problem, maybe it's because i bought them brand new?

I bought the same lights for my 206, second hand and they have been so annoying, the sidlights completely melted, the halo rings variously stop working and when i put blue tinted bulbs in they blow after a month.

Has anyone else with angel eyes had this problem?

Look at the back for the makers of them. Post up what they are.

The genuine ones are made by Ultra are they not? Should have a name or a part number on them. Cheap bulbs will blow soon regardless of what lights they are in. You are better off with SMD's.

Oh right, i don't want to remove them so i'll see if i can tell what they are without doing so, otherwise i'll replace them.

The bulbs i have been buying are ultra blue or laser blue ones from halfrauds, they're £15-20 each, i get them for £7 with discount tho, so they're not normally cheap bulbs, i wanted to convert them to HID's but don't want to spend all that money if they're likely to blow.

They are still cheap ones just Halfords is a massive rip most of the time even with a trade card. Get SMD's you won't be disappointed. As for HID's I got a cheap set but got them with a warranty.

I am selling it Lee, but not with dodgey lights lol, i'll save up for a couple of months, put it up on piston heads and autotrader in the spring when people have more money, probably bring the prive down a bit too. I'll get my brother to look at them, he's got a degree in electronical engineering and is amazing with cars so if they can be sorted, he's the man :D.

Cheers for the link Rob :). Never heard of those before, they look too small to be for headlights, look more like my number plate bulbs! might look into it...

They are sidelight bulbs. I have them in my car. They are very good.
