Simple really.... what tyres do you/would you use on a trackday. Assume it is damp/dry conditions and there is no rain or very light drizzle or sunny.
I am more interested in Brand and model eg. Toyo Proxy R1R.
I will start it off with a suggestion

Location: Not Leeds or its surrounding areas!
I have used part worn conti contact 2's for a few trackdays and stick with guys running r888's etc throught the bends with ease. Only problem i have found with road tyres is the walls are too soft, not a problem at cadwell/blyton but it wrecked them at croft pretty quick.
Just started using Maxsport RB5's and they seem good.....once i took the top layer off and got the pressures right. Alot of people slag them off but I gave them ago and i'm more than happy. Roll on Blyton.
This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!
r888's. I used pirelli p zeros for a while which were good but then changed the suspension and found they over heated in 3 laps changed to 888 and there was a massive difference.
