Forgot how to set it? it is flashing on wrong date and time.

hold the button down release it press the other button until the right setting is achieved release it press the other button again press the other button until the right setting is achieved press the other button again

what button? i pressed the 2 on the clock display but nothing happened, i pressed and held the trip button but that didn't do any thing.

don't know what you just said but i have done it, press the left button on the display for 2 secs, then press again to scroll to the thing you want to change, then use the right hand button to change to what you want.
