Hi all,
Quick question,
Circumstances-
I had a standard hdi sxi interior in my SW.
no airbag faults
I got a 180 interior, drivers seat (right hand airbag) had been deployed
Removed my SXI seats, and cut the airbag clip/wire seat side, so I have both male and female ends connected to my vehicle.
I've not connected the 180 seats to the existing airbag loom. As of the seats airbag deployment.
Even though I have previously fitted half leather and removed the Dturbo interior the same way, I didn't get a fault when I refitted them without attaching the airbag plugs??
Done the same with the 180 but get a airbag fault???
Does all that make sense?
Anyone any ideas??
Previous car is in my WIP - 206 HDI D TURBO (52plate)
New passion wagon - 206 HDI SXI SW (04plate)
Thanks for your advice in advance

You need to connect a non fired seat airbag to the car.

So the both need connecting or can I just remove both the make ends from my car side.
I'll not be able to connect the drivers clip to my car side as the right side of the seats been deployed.
That sound right!?
Funny how it didn't fault in my other 206

Airbags are about to become MOT testable
Get a replacement airbag for the seat & fit it.

Look on Ebay / cars being broken on here, there not just fitted to the GTI 180.

Cheers Jack, your a super star mate!
Has anyone any ideas whether the airbag will fit or not, and any threads to take off, replace old/new airbags etc.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

One nut on the back & the airbag also clips in to the seat frame.
Airbag needs to be the same shape to fit in the hole as there are at least 2 different shapes of seat airbag been used on the later 206's.
