My speedometer being playing up and stuck at 30mph. I took everything apart and found that it cause by the cluster motor behind the speedometer needle.
After further examination on the cluster motor, i found that a tiny transparent pin holding the gear was broken. I glue the pin back into the casing with superglue and put the speedometer back again. It works!
Seems like a very common problem on 206 speedometer and it only take me half an hour to fix it without the need of a new cluster motor 50pounds or a new cluster motor casing 35pounds.

They seem to be an unreliable unit, ive had one that was inaccurate by about 5mph, reading too little (showing 30 actual speed 35mph etc), another unit blowing random bulbs, and another unit showing no fuel and no coolant temperature reading.
