Hi, looking for a little bit of help really, was looking online for suggestions and found this site, have had a little look in the threads and cant seem to find something similar.
The problem started last sunday when after being parked on a hill overnight in the cold, my car wouldnt start, i primed the fuel just incase the hill had affected it somehow and it started, drove the car the hour home fine. The car then started fine monday morning to go to work, tried starting the car on tuesday and it wouldnt start, tried priming it again and nothing. Tried the obvious like checking I had fuel and trying to jump it incase of the battery. Had a retired mechanic friend come and look at it, who told me it was the fuel pump underneath the back seat and to source a replacement and change the parts over, on removing the old one i discovered that it was only a fuel sender unit under the back seat. On researching the internet it looks to me like they had problems with the fuel pump being under the back seat so changed the design. Not really sure where else to look, or what to try next?
Could it be just a split pipe, fuel relay or cut off?
Thanks
