Hey guys,

While out and about last night i noticed the light which tells me my headlights/sidelights are on is no longer working :/

The mainbeam one still does though.

Im gussing the bulb has gone but surely it shudnt have.. but also that maybe a fuse has blew causing it not to show. i will add that both the sidelights and headlights are fully working still.

Now im aware that as of this year dashboard warning lights are a requirement on the MOT! so i need this sorted.

Couple of questions:

If its a bulb (i have a preplex GTI so im sure its a bulb not a LED...?) is this a case of taking off the steering wheel and getting into the dial cluster??

If its a fuse does anyone know which fuse it is? Just when i bought my car it came with a user manual from a multiplex GTI so all the fuse diagrams are different.

If someone could post up a picture of a preflex fuse box diagram that would be a huge help otherwise i will be searching all my fuses lol

Thanks guys Smile

Karl.

It's not a fuse, it's the bulb, no need to remove steering wheel, just pull the cluster's "roof" up, and dismantle the cluster, change the bulb, easy job.
