Have bought a set of new aero wipers but the driver's side one doesn't actually stay against my windscreen the whole way to the end of the blade. It lifts off where the windscreen starts to curve away from it towards the edge.
Anyone else found this?
It's clearing less on my windscreen than my old style wipers and thought these were meant to be better...

Mine miss about half an inch less than the classic style, it's only in the bottom drivers side corner because they dont fold round enough onto the screen. it's not an annoying problem I barely notice! The fact they do a better job on the rest of the screen, don't judder when there isn't much water on the glass and they look smart makes them a lot better!

What size have you got?
For Aero flat blades you need 21" both sides

yup i have 21" on both. the blades are the right size, its just that they hover off the windscreen at the ends about an inch.

Tape a brick to the end of it. Should weigh it down.
Jokes aside, it annoys me as well, but I've learned to live with it.

Just take the cap off the end and cut an inch off it If its doing nothing then refit the cap.

I need a new set, I might try this on my old ones and see what it does instead of chopping a brand new set!

Its a known design issue due to the curve of the windscreen & the way the wiper blades are set up.
405 used to do exactly the same but on the passenger side.

Instead of cutting the end off, why not just buy one thats a inch shorter, so get a 20" in stead of a 21" for the drivers side.
