Wee question... Is it possible for a fuel tank to drain itself in the event of bending valves I.E, timing belt de-tensioning etc. Just after my mishap the fuel gauge says empty, like it doesn't even move from ignition off position even when ignition is on. Btw not sure if tank is actually empty yet.
Any feedback would be great cheers.

Err no lol not unless there is a hole in it.
Maybe the float that reads the amount of fuel is broke.

I think that's where the solenoid and plugs are for the fuel sender. It was there on my 106 anyway. Ok well cheers for the advice.

Thats where the fuel filter/pump is I think, so that would have the level sensor on or float or whatever it is.

They don't drain themselves, but the fuel pixies steal it.
