Panel, the standard air box works fine unless you want noise.

if its a 180 the typhoon does make a difference in the drive of the car (the noise is awesomes too Smile ) iv had my 180 for years and had standard, k&n panel filter, pipercross and the typhoon and the typhoon is by far the best. not saying its gonna add loads of horsepower but the pickup is a lot more responsive and it revs a lot more freely. it may have lost a little of the torque at low revs but seems more powerful when its 4k rpm plus

Has anyone done a back to back comparison on a dyno to actually see where the gains/losses really are with standard panel,K+N type panel open cone and enclosed type filters?

Would be nice to see some actual figures.
