Hello,

I got a punto had been in an accident not from my fault and it looks like its going to get scraped so i always wanted to have a 206 max engine size 1.6 due to my age i am only 19 and the insurance i very hight so please advice me on what 206 version to buy thanks, i got big plans for my 206 will have t modified when i get it :).

206 + young driver with an insurance claim already = break out the Vaseline Wink

Best advice for young drivers these days is DON'T buy a 206 Wink

Mods will only make any premium a lot higher as well.

Hello,

The claim is not from my fault so that won't effect me. and 206 are nice cars and i would like to have one because punto brakes all the time i put into mine this yea around 2 grand for just fixing it.

Ring up for an insurance quote first as you will be in for a shock.

206 + young driver are seen as very high risk by insurance companies so the premiums are very high!

Hello,

I got quotes upto 1.500 which is not as high for a 206 1.6 engine so months its like 120 i paid 235 for my punto a month 1.2 Smile this will be my second year plus 1 year no claim bonus.

Go for a HDi... 2.0. Cheaper insurance than the 1.6 yet much more economical and when the times right has decent tuning potential.

Or go for a 1.4 petrol as the tax is only £130 for the year where as the 1.6 the tax is around £220 a year Smile
