Hello,

Came back from work to find my car had been used as a bouncy castle. The full roof, every corner, all pushed down.

I sat inside and gave it a gentle push and in some areas there feels like there is movement and that it could pop back up but I'm s**t scared on how to do it.

Will it not crack the paint if I pop it back up? Whats the best way do to it?

Any help is appreciated cause it feels like one thing after another for me with this car.

Jordan

Depends how deep the dents are you might get lucky and it wont crack the paint. But if it does then a respray wouldnt be too bad as it's got quite a gap between any other panels so wont look quite out of place. Or you could always get it vinyl wrapped.

even though it may pop back out you will be lucky to get it back to how it was before without any creasing.

Some knobhead ran over my car, all the dents poped out but you can still see some of the creases

Not going through insurance anyway Iain. And no, I didn't tell the police. I checked the carpark I was in and there was no cameras on my car so would be useless.

Even if cameras not ON the car, it would be worth checking for drunken behaviour/suspects on that day.

I don't know what the rules are for CCTV records over there..

Very sad to hear this. I had a simmilar thing recently where some cretin was using white spray can evidently
and got the roof and boot glass hazed. I got extremely mad and started accusing various shops in the area
getting into massive arguments etc..

Ill check with where I was parked today then. Its in a retail park and I was parked at the very edge near a housing eastate. Could be difficult to tell really. I won't be bothered though if it can be fixed.

That is awful but I would log a call with the Police if only to get a crime reference number.

Totally gutted for you matey, there are some f*****g idiots out there! If you go to a local garage maybe someone could point you in the right direction of where or who to go to next? I know round my area there is someone who can pull dents at very good prices and heard good things so maybe same sort of person around your area?

that sucks a55, ive had one of my cars done over on my drive, fcukers threw paint all over the roof, and down the sides, spearing it all over the front and drivers side windows and even when i could prove to the police who did it, with all be it grainy security cam footage (happened over night, not a night sight cam, well it is now), they could do nothing to them as they were all under the age of 16.

they did over £750 worth of damage to the car, for various seals, cleaning, etc. and i could not even get the parents to pay for it.

as said report it to the police but dont expect anything to be done about it, as for the dents try a mobile dent remover, like ding master, they might be able to help, if not im sure they can point you in the right direction.

Wait a few years and let them forget about it...return the favour with some brake fluid!

Just been on detailing world like I do everyday after reading about your roof and couldn't believe it when I saw this

www.detailingworld.co....p?t=257278

Absolute scumbags that do these sorts of things! Something needs to be done about this, is isnt fair that the owners end up footing the bill for the damage.
