I need to change my tailgate, but the wiring looks near on impossible to change! It is run down one side of the boot, as well as the washer tube which runs down the other. Has anyone ever done this and got any tips?

The guy has left quite a bit of wiring on the end of the loom so i could just cut mine and reconnect the wires, but dont really want to do this.

There is a multiplug for the tailgate wiring behind the left hand boot side trim panel.

s**te! Just realised this, ill go back to him and get the rest of it, while have to reconnect the wires together. How does the loom fit fit between the top of the roof and into the boot? The loom plug will never fit through the grommet holes.

Edit, Yes it will!
