Right guys got to the garage yesterday to put fuel in, so filled her up about to start her up and all she does is tick, so tired it again tick. So had to push her aside get my boss to come get me with the jump leads and that did nothing so bump started it work :S got back to the yard turn it off and tired again tick. By this time ive had enough finished work jumps started it got home and told me mechanic to have a look so turn it off and then bang its starts again Did a battery test and sxaid it was 98% full so any ideas ??

Mine was doing this at one point I thought it was the alternator not charging the battery but it was the starter motor it was like sometimes it would turn over and others felt like the battery was flat

Can't be a very good mechanic if you still have the issue after seeing them!

well it was my step dadhe knows abit n said it was the starter motor but just want to know if it was something else not that..

It's only 2wiers and an earth ( i think) just take them off give them a clean and put them back on as might be a dodggy connection failing that mine was relplaced for £125

All we can do on here is look into our crystal ball and predict what it is that is causing the fault.
Could be alternator could be battery earth strap could even be a spark plug issue.. Who knows? A mechanic would! Book it in at a garage they will plug it into diagnostics and fix the right part without a massive bill replacing parts by simply "guessing?"

just clean the battery terminals,and tight the (+) and (-)clip of the wires very well,because if they are lose,they will do the same as you described it.

Id agree with Spike. Check your Earths for starter motor to start with.
