Just about to do the annual oil change again, Just about to buy a new sump plug as have always just used the same one and have read somewere that it is important to change after a few oil changes, anyway here we go, here is the plug:

But would anyone recommend getting a washer too?

Finally what oil grade would people recommend for a 1.1 in the summer,

For the sake of £2 get the washer as for the oil just use the usual oil you use.

Cant remember what i usually use, as bought so much oil for different people, I dont want to guess and want to buy some castroll stuff on the way back home later!

Ideally you should replace the washer on every oil change. Euro car parts only charge £1.26 and direct from the dealer they are a whopping £1.51
Better value still from the dealer is the sump plug only costing £1.27
Who said dealers were a rip off.
For less than £3 I would change both.
Get the oil from the dealer at the same time. Might as well use the recommended stuff for the engine.
