hi, i was driving down the motorway the other day and my EML light came on, it has'not affected the performance of it or anything else , ive checked it and its showing fault code p0170 fuel richness, any ideas if this is common or what the cure is ?????

Probably caused by a lambda sensor starting to fail.
But you will have to get it connected to a diagnostic to really find out why ...

yh i did put it on diagnostics mate but thats all it said , i thought it could be that but ive read it could be a number of things , just wondered if its a common fault ? thanks

The diagnostic tools are made to stop the guessing time,so get it checked so you can fix it before it start drinking pertol
