Hi everyone. My new centre console came today  and so did my alacantara came also yay!
It's to match my interior. Any tips on best way to wrap it?
What glue would I need etc.

tip you wanna be good at it to do it im sure even the pros said it would be very dificukt mattyp was gonna get his done by a company but they wanted a fair whack iirc

Ive done a few, all i can recommend is have another person there to help you, you need the wrap very warm so it stretches but dont stretch too much or it will tear, and take your time!

No glue as the wrap should be adhesive.
Buy the 3M stuff. Take your time.

I did this on my old scoob mate, its all about patience this game! The way i tackeld it was to spray adhesive on the flat surface and bond the material to it, allow it to cure over a few hours and then trim/wrap the corners and stick down with a quick dry bonder (like syrup) Sadly i never finished it before selling. Was going to put the later spec sti blue seats in to finish it off!

just hazarding a guess here thats he has already bought the stuff and its alcantara so not the stuff you guys are on about hes not so much wrapping it as upholstering it if you get me?
so one of this heating it up and that its more pulling it accross it and glueing it on and then pretty sure you should some how secure it round the back like pull it over and that but im guessing the problem with that would be it adding a small thickness onto the edges so when put in place might be a bit tight?

Use clothes pegs to hold the material in place while the glue sets..

Thanks fellas, got mine off ebay, quite cheap too. £15 posted for 1m of it. Looks very tidy too, came yesterday. You got any tips for getting into the niggly areas, like the single DIN slots and stuff?
Might attempt it tonight. My room is literally full of 206 stuff (SP pedals, gearnob, handbrake, SP chrome vents, morettes, new centre console, rear ph2 lights, leather binnacle etc) haha!, need to start putting my a**e into gear haha!
206 currently has it's axle off though 
I've ordered some glue from ebay, £4 posted. Was recommended it from the BMW forums, few of them have done it. Hope I don't mess it up haha!

cause he wants to be different? And it will look mint if done proper and match the seats and that

Advice for the din slot and top bit would be pull a fair bit of material through it to give you some to ply with then cut it behind if you get me?
