Update: Went to the local scrap yard, and found a Sagem coil pack and tried that, car still misfired so now that's out of the way it's safe to say it is the injector? Why would the fault code come up with number 3 when it was determined that it is number 4?

Sagem coil packs are a known problem. I changed my recently for a Bourgicord one from GSF Car Parts = no more problems. Bosch spark plugs as well!!!!

I have a bougicord one currently, the one at the scrapyard was Sagem and I didnt buy it because the problem was still there.
I have took the injectors out now and was going to swap them and see if anything changed but I lost the o ring for one, just my luck.

Update
Just swapped over injector #4 with #1 (nearest to gbox) and unplugged the one I thought was faulty and no change to engine working order. unplugged number 4 and it was even worse.
So it is safe to say I have a dodgy injector, ordered a new one!

I was about to say washer jet leaking on the injector and killing the injector. Glad you sorted it. My old 206 1. 4 had this problem and so did my sisters 1.4. Both on no.4
