Hi Guys,
Ive got mot coming up just few things i want to check...
First of all its a diesel, so...
Ive had a cheap decat done from a friend so there few bits of welding and the back box was a reck so he rewelded up with little piece of pipe...
This legal?
I've got the abs light permanently on which I recon is obv fail but this shouldn't be to much to fix i think its just the bit where it plugs in or something I've been told...
This legal?
Also I've had a service light on but my friend knows how to deactivate it, which he did.
This legal?
Plus guys,
If you know anyone with a really cheap gti half leather interior can you message me please & front door cards cuz I've some but they don't fit as there few minor bits different cheers everyone

As long as they are the correct font, spacing and and have the reflective material they are fine!
I bought mine from eBay(believe it or not). I typed legal pressed number plates in.

An illuminated ABS light will fail the MOT, where as a illuminated service light won't.

Fix the ABS problem and service the car before spending any money on modifications.

doesn't smoke
ABS light is getting fixed before anything cuz mot is soon so don't worry,
Cheers for the help guys
I think its the abs sensor cuz it came shortly after my driveshaft was done :I oooo well as long as its a cheap fix I'm not fussed as I've already replaced half the things in this car...
Radiator
Driveshaft
Brake Pads
Tyres
Radio
Interior
Soon...
Abs Sensor
Acceleration cable
mass air flow sensor
glow plugs
& a remap is in order!
I don't mind as long as the above done fail completely, must admit i like replacing everything slowly anyway that way you know the car is newest it can be, otherwise its just a waiting game and thats when everything goes wrong at once!
