i think my car is in need of a new clutch, its fine at pulling away and flooring it in first, it seems to handle the torque but soon as im flooring it through second and into third it seems to sound as if its spinning up the gears, and cant get the power down, i believe to think that my clutch is slipping, its not the gearbox just had it replaced and drive shafts seem fine, just had 4 brand new tyres too? what do you people think? its a 206 xs

Did you not have the clutch replaced when the gearbox was replaced?

awww alice! sh*t isn't it! i hate it i got a straight through exhaust so is very loud and its horrible it sounds like the throttle is staying open!:( so its like the same note through gears atm

Aww bad times indeed! Yeah mines fine when speeding off in first but second and third sound like I'm reving the s**t out my car,poor little things they are lol x

only pulling your leg mate, and if you cant deal with sarcasm your on the wrong forum. And no I don't floor my car I abide by the speed limit  mainly because I drive a 1.1 and cant get it above the speed limit lol
Does sound like your clutch is going tbh but I'm no mechanic

YES! It's gonna be free on my driveway lol! Just gotta find a cheap but good clutch x
