Hi all
I am new to the site so a big hello to you all i have a problem with my wife's car i had a air bag light on took the car to have the probably diagnosed said probably was passenger side, had to remove the seat to trace the wire found the problem fixed it  when putting the seat back in front bolt near the door will not go in it just spins the little block it screws in to spins as soon as it starts to get tight if anyone has had this problem or knows a fix  please help getting very frustrated  cheers Tiny

you sure you have the rails in the right position both sides, did mine a few months ago and thought that the bolt screw into the shell(assuming you undid the 4 bolts holing the rails and seat in)

Thanks for the reply the rails are in the right place and line up the metal block with the thread in spins around i have tried wedging it with a screw driver but no joy cheers tiny

If the anchor nut has broken away then you might need to consider installing a rivnut. It's a captive nut for blind holes (look in Ebay). They're not difficult to fit even without any special tools and they're very strong

I know what's wrong! Happened to me...
You will need to put a flat bladed screw driver and flick up that plastic cover the bolt goes into. Now you have access to the nut the bolt screws into... Mine was standing up on it's side and I had to flick it down to its flat so the bolt could go into it... Problem solved for me and I hope it helps you
