Whilst cleaning a couple weeks crap out of my Wifes car, i noticed a couple bits of elastic hanging down the rear of the passenger seat, now, i assume they secure under the seat somewhere so went to have a look and found a large plastic box, cant move it forward or backward, what is this box and does it come out?

If you have standard seats the front part of the seat(where your bum is) pulls up and under there is a 'secret' storage compartment

Lift the seat itself forward and up to reveal compartment underneath.
