There I was going over a speed bump and usually most people accelerate back up to 30mph after slowing for them but this person decide to stop dead. . . = me into back of them . .
They stopped dead and although i'm slammed brakes on car still took a while to stop. My car went under the back of theirs hence they have 4x4 . . hopefully with scrapyards shouldn't be too much to repair. i'm only third party
so far to replace we can see . . .
Lights
Bonnet
Radiator (loads of steam on impact and coolant over road)
Fan
Plastic bar between lights with pug logo
Airbox
Mechanic (sisters bloke) coming round tomorrow to check in depth

well im not working and on JSA at the moment, so only option is to repair .
I would like to pay the other party cash for repairs and avoid going via a claim on my insurance, only damage on their car seems to be broken rear middle bottom fog light and scratched bumper.
I called my insurance earlier today to ask about recovery, but not offered on third party. Will they still log that I had an accident and will it affect my NCB and policy price at renewal even if I say i dont want to claim to them and want to resolve it with the other party directly.

Yeah, try not to pick a fight with a 4x4, or a tractor or bus. For some reason, you tend to end up worse off
Shame about the car though :/

Even if you don't claim, you have still been involved in an accident. It's likely you'll see a hike in your premium come renewal.
