Just use turps on a brush to scrub it off. It's cheap and most people have some. Wash it off with soapy water afterwards.

well ive totally ballsed it up torqued the bolt just one click too many and bang of came the bolt head does anyone know how much it will be to have a garage sort it out? im such a numpty lol

Do it yourself, just get a stud extraction kit.

Once the rocker cover is off you may be able to grip the remaining part with "mole" grips and undo it yourself. If the head of the bolt snapped undoing the other bolt should let you take the cover off.
