Park in the shade then. Laughing

My mirror is fine, but my phone control button which was stuck to the dash with hot melt glue has come off. It's just hanging there now until I get round to resticking it.

If you go to one of the windscreen repair companies, they will sort it out or new mounts are £4.45 from the dealer (£3.92 if you have a rain sensor)

@icetto in Britain we are used to slow temperature increases. At the moment we are suffering from a heat wave, the max temperature I have seen looking at 26 degree's Celsius. So its hot for us and not only that its humid (hot sticky air ridden with pollen)

In my car I have vinyl black bucket seats and a leather rear bench, these like to absorb heat! when I open my car door I can feel the hot air exit the car and I have to leave my car door open for the air to dissipate.

In car temp has been 37 degrees.

Dropped to a wet 14 degrees today. Guess that's summer over with.

Geez big difference in temp.

I once had to park my car outside in summer. Got back inside and it was 44 degrees. Was so hot I could even touch my gear knob. Thank goodness for AC.

Nothing melted off though. Just my overflow cap broke with all the pressure

44? Thats impressive! Think ive seen low 30's but nothing more than that. Thats the trouble with these metal gear knobs!
You can get some "licence plate sticky pads" from motor factors - will hold your wing mirror no problems (did it several times in many old cars for the same reason)

My Hilux was like an oven last weekend because of all the windows. Burnt my arm on the rest and my hand on the steering wheel as soon as i got in.
