As the title says, need to take them off for painting as its cheaper like that so if anyone could tell me would be very helpful. Going to get them colour coded were black (01 quicksilver) want them silver.

Give them a good yank, you'll probably break a few clips though, but there pennies from the main dealer.

How do I know what clips they are tho:o and how hard will they be to put back on

If you get new clips all you do is put the clips into the strip and bang it on.

you will break the clips no matter how careful you are so buy some before you do it!! they are pennies!!

From memory you need 7 for the door and 3 for the rear qtr, i bought a bag of 20 to do both sides for £3.80 from pug

pull the end closest to the door opening up a bit then push it forward .. i managed to do it with breaking only 1 clip haha better than mostly all of them

as for bumpstrips .. undo all the torx bits on top and get a flat head screw driver wrap masking tape around the end so you dont damage the paint and at the side where it joins twist the screwdriver and it will pop it out .. same goes for both the bumpstrips just colour coded mine last week thats how i found it easiest to do it
