Had this roland garros in for its MOT today and when i drove into the garage with it heard the sound of water sloshing around, opened the boot to expect to see a large container full of water, found nothing so thought nothing more of it, let my boss MOT it and when he was checking the sills for rust one hit with the inspection tool and it punctured the sill and this happened. Guessing the sill draining points are all blocked up.

Ps. video goes on for 2 Minutes but you get the idea early on of the extent of it.

How the hell the driver never bothered with it before. I mean if you heard it as soon as you moved it you would have thought curiosity would have made him investigate more.

It beggars belief, then again the other day we had a customer complain his brakes were grinding, so got it on the ramp and sure enough the pads were down to the metal. So i changed the discs and pads took it for a test drive and you couldn't hear yourself think over the sound of the knackered wheel bearing. Customers response was "oh i didnt hear that" but yet somehow they could hear the brakes grinding over it.

I checked the other side and it looked as though it had been repaired before as it didn't have the same curve to the sill, either that it or its had a pretty big whack at some point, but the customer claimed it hadn't been done since he'd owned it which was 7 years.
