The last few days my partners airbag ecu light has been on permaneant (not flashing). I scanned it with Planet and got the following photo. Ive done some research and a few forums suggesting the Comm2000 etc, any ideas? Its a 206 Sport 2006 done 80k. It has passenger and drivers airbags as opposed to my Gti which has side etc. Mot not for another 2 months!! Cheers Darren

First things first, learn to use the tool correctly. You can view parameters, and it even guides you through fixing a fault in the airbag system!

Second, you are using an old version of PP, it needs updating

Third, replace the COM as there is a fault in stage one activation.

Hi Lee thanks for replying, I realise 23.25 isnt the newest, I really only needed to diagnose Dpf problems in the past. When you say replace the Com2000 can you elaborate?! Im better off underneath the car than inside it! Electrical boxes/switches arent really my thing? I posted a 'How to' on here yesterday for 1.6Hdi glow plugs which a lot of people struggle on,sod's law something trickier would come up the day after!

Hi Lee. thanks for the info, I did the glowplugs on Sunday and posted a write-up on 'how-to' on here, bit basic but more for re-assurance towards others. In replacing the Com,I love how it says 'take off steering wheel' like it would be a 2 minute job??!! Where is the best place to source a new COM? im guessing anywhere with a warranty would be best?

Peugeot main dealer, your GTI HDI should have ESP fitted & that means a new com 2000 unit will be very expensive Laughing

Toyota C-HR GR Sport 2.0 Hybrid with JBL & Alcantara packs.

It's my missus's 206 sport, I'm not sure if it has ESP fitted, will check later. It does have your favourite DV6 lump fitted though......!!
