Who's remapping it?
Is it a 'live' map or 'generic'?

£200 isn't expensive for a remap - but only you will know if it's worth it

My own 206 GTi had a generic remap, and was only 3bhp shy of a custom remap from RSTuning (that GTi had a custom exhaust/manifold).
£150 vs. £300 in the above case - which one is expensive? lol

So £200 is expensive then.
You paid £150 a mate of mine paid £120.

Which means f*** all unless you know what they both made pre-remap on the same rollers.

But more importantly, a remap isn't all about the highest power figure.
Whats the curve like? is it just throwing a ton of fuel in?
It's a quality, well thought out map that you want, that gives value for money.

D4NTP has a good point. No point in hunting for the biggest power figures to brag about if the car has a terrible power delivery. Cars mechanicals are more compromised and drivability is reduced with an inconsistent power increase as the revs build.
I wish I'd have had my 1.4lx hdi remapped when I had it. What torque gains are you expecting? 21bhp will definitely be noticeable. It would be interesting to find out what your cars current outputs are too, and how that curve looks
