I have a pug 206 2001 1360cc it is misfiring on number 4 cylinder computer says injector fault fitted new on also changed the coil pack plugs checked the wiring and had the e c u checked out still misfiring computer still say injector fault any Ideas im out of them

No worries, the only reason I ask is that by convention, almost all inline engines have their cylinders numbered with 1 starting at the pulley (non flywheel) end. If its the case though, it certainly explains the original poster's issue!

Peugeot like doing things backwards. Inj 1 is gearbox end.

Its NOT the bonnet vent
Its the washer jet, rain water leaks behind the washer jet & drips straight down on to number 4 injector, thats why 206's with the under bonnet cover dont seem to suffer from injector failures.

100% sure, seen no end of people change the wrong injector on PSA stuff as they think that number 1 is timing belt end - NOT in PSA world its not

I have had a Peugeot main dealer mechanic ask me how to fix a 306 alarm system before
