Hi I had my head gasket repaired beacause it had a leak, Its leaking now from the rocker gasket cover.
Is the rocker gasket expencensive to have repaired?
How do i know that the head gasket was repaired in the first place?
Appreciate any advice

rocker gasket is not hard mate, shouldn't be too much
you wont be able to tell if your head was done by looking at it
how much did you pay to have it done? have you got a reciet?

Two years ago on my old 306 my rocker was leaking, cost me £30 to get it fixed at a local garage.

Must be something wrong with mine then as its still on the original factory fitted rocker cover gasket from 9 years ago.

Is it on an 8v engine? The Rocker gasket is a common leaking point on them. Same in the 106's/ Saxo's etc. Only a few quid from a motor factors and easy to replace.
If its the 16v engine/s its a little more involved but still not a big job at all.
Garage should charge no more than an hour's labour + price of gasket really.

I just changed mine 2 weeks ago for a fiver (parts from euro car parts), is a one spanner dirty job and will take less than 20 minutes. However, there's few things that u need to aware of,
1. Get a lot of kitchen tower or newspaper for cleaning.
2. Beware of the washers between the rocker cover and oil splash cover, dun drop it into the engine block.
3. Make sure u attach the rubber seal probaly and apply some oil along side the seals (like what normally u do on oil filter)
4. Dun over tighten the bolt.
5. Most importantly, leave it to garage if u r not sure what r u doing.

Mine lasted 11 years without even a drop leaking and I only replaced it because I was taking the cover off anyway to adjust the tappets.

Mine's going to be replaced next month when I adjust the tappets, there slightly noisy after 89k miles.

WARNING: This is not a one-off process. You will need to re-do them periodicaly untill they settle-down again.
The engine will behave differently until it settles-down. It is by far the best thing I've done to the cars resulting in: increased power, reduced noise, dramaticaly reduced fuel consumption.

It sounds like a job for lunch time at work then 
Ill reuse the old gasket till im happy with the tappet adjustment then ill fit the new gasket

I found one thing which made the process much easier is removing the 0.20 & 0.40 feelers from the set
and bending them at the end to get a nice angle. You can also get them like this with a bend from new.
It is also critical that the engine is completely cold through and through and I usually leave it over-night
as the min time quoted by Peugeot (2 hrs) is simply not enough.
Then re-do it only after about 600 miles, even if there is one valve pinging slightly when warm..

is there a teppet ajustment guide on here think mine will be well over due with 120000 miles on clock
