I know most upgrades for the 206 GTI 180 are small, so (1) anyone know what the BHP increase will be on a 69 Series Typhoon Air Induction Kit (around £200+)?

Also (2) can anyone give me a rough overall BHP increase figure for the 69 Series Typhoon Induction Kit and a Janspeed Cat-Back system together?

Question number three (3) which one would give me the biggest (despite it being small) BHP increase if I could only buy one of: A Remap, the Janspeed cat back or the 69 series Typhoon?

Lastly (4) with any one (or two) of these, will I actually see a slight increase in acceleration at any RPM?

Thank you

f*** all, you might as well put your money in the bin.

Very little

Remap

You will loose power with this stupid ridiculously overpriced air intake as you will be sucking in hot air. You will see am improvement with the cat back but not very much as its naturally aspirated.

My gti 180 lost 12bhp in the rollers when I put a induction kit on. It's standerd figures were 169 bhp with a cat back panel filter and remap it went up to 174 bhp.

Panel filter certainly seems the way to go on the 180.
The remap worked well on mine but others have varying results.

I think the best way to go tuneing wise with the 180 is cams cat back an custom map.

My 180 gained approx 5bhp from a Janspeed cat back (With a map you may reach 180bhp if your lucky), K&N is a waste of time, as said cat cams are the only way to get decent power and tbh thats not really worth it.

Just enjoy it for what it is.

You could always buy one of these 30bhp for £8 bad boys, and if you want to go really fast try some of this stuff

You've got to remember that the 180 is already tuned from the factory, they taken the 138 and made it better. So there isn't much room for improvement without spending big money.

gti180boy has 195hp with CatCams and the usual mods

Leave the engine as it is and spend money on some decent suspension instead.

I'm not sure what's worse.. the fact that it costs pennies to make and they are actually selling it for £8.95 each or that 143 people have bought them Rolling Eyes

Buy my supercharger for it and fit that.
ICE goes in drinks. NOT in cars.
