Croft Rallycross 5/6 November - Modified Cars Wanted

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi all!

As the title suggests, we are looking for modified car clubs to provide static displays at Croft Circuit on 5/6 November.

The deal is simple - £25 allows each car for display which includes admission for four occupants per car, potentially saving £47 on the standard weekend gate price.

The event is being run over two days with the final round of the MSA British Rallycross Championship on Saturday 5th followed by the BRC finals on Sunday 6th am and then the main event of MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix in the afternoon.

This is a major milestone for Motorsport in the North East after Rallycross losing out at Croft due to a High Court ruling regarding noise a couple of years ago - The fact that we are bringing Rallycross back along with a 7 year absense of the GP is a major feat that we have fought long and hard to make happen.

We are looking ideally for support from anyone with a tidy, nice looking but modified cars to put on a static display - To help promote your club, Motorsport and Rallycross as a whole.

We have already secured some big names in Rallycross (such as X-Games Gold Medalist, Liam Doran) and we have a live band, bar and BYO fireworks on the Saturday night. We have also organised a £5 camping deal with a local hotel (or discounted rooms if preferred) and are also laying on a free bus to the hotel for anyone wishing to join in the Saturday night party.

Our official FB page is at: www.facebook.com/rallycrossgp where all RXGP information is available. Or @RallycrossGP on twitter.

For anyone wishing to take advantage of this please send me an email to Richard.place @ ripla.co.uk and I will send a booking form, this can be filled in individually or by your club admin.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully we will see you at Croft on 5/6 November!

Rich

For the first time in decades, next month’s MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix at Croft Circuit will feature on terrestrial television as the organisers have clinched a deal with Channel 4.

Extensive highlights are to be shown meaning a chance for fans to relive the action and vital exposure for competitors contesting the prestigious event at the North Yorkshire circuit on Sunday 6th November. In addition, Saturday’s round of the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship will feature satellite coverage on Motors TV as normal.

Class structures have also been confirmed for Supercars, Super National and Super 1600 (all minimum of National A license) along with categories in the final round of the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship including Suzuki Swift Sport, Hot Hatch, BMW Mini, RX150, all of which require a minimum of National B license as well as the Suzuki Swift Juniors.

Regulations and further details are available at www.rallycrossuk.com and entry forms are available at www.rallycrossuk.com/d...ound8.pdf. Any prospective competitors wishing to compete at the event should note that there are still a few cars available for hire. Anyone interested should contact Kevin Procter on 01677 425203 for more information.

Entries are still available but all classes are rapidly filling up so any remaining competitors who intend entering are advised to submit their entries as soon as possible.

A Media Day will take place on Friday 4th November at Croft Circuit from 10am to 2pm with invited drivers. Further information and details of the event are available at www.facebook.com/rallycrossgp and www.twitter.com/rallycrossgp.

Adult ticket prices are £8 on the Saturday and £15 on the Sunday or £18 for a weekend ticket. Advance tickets are available until October 28th and more information can be found at www.croftcircuit.co.uk.
