Ok so tomorrow im suppose to get angel eyes(i know most people here dont like them) from a 2001 model. He doesn't know if they h7 or 4. Do you guys know if they will just fit straight onto my 1999 model?

Also im gettin a new spoiler and im unsure of how to chamge them over.

You don't even know what fitment they are, so how is anyone supposed to know if they will be a straight fit.

Haha good point. If they are the same filament do they just connect the same way? I have no idea about angel eyes. Bit confused at how the side lights can be 'halo'

Usually angels are h4 i believe. The halo sidelights are the rings you see on them

What about changing the rear spoiler? Is it a basic job?

Spoiler or rear wipers or rear lights?

Fitting a GTI spoiler takes lot more time.

Changing rear wipers is easy.

Rear lights is just straight change easy,depending on type of rear lights you buy. All should come with the same adaptor.

Changing the spoiler could be difficult if the old one is tiger sealed on, easier to swap tailgates.

Its swappin a gti (think previous owner put it on) dont know what the other one is called. Is there screws or is it screwed on or is it just tiger seal?
