I'm a new member on here so I just thought I'd post a few pictures of the small project I'm doing.
It's a black 2001 (Y) GLX. At the minute I'm just trying to get it back to standard so it'll pass the MOT and then I'll be looking at doing some basic modifications to it. It also hasn't got any wheels, so I'm deciding whether to get some standard cheap steelies or get some second hand Peugeot wheels (Nimrods/Vortex's etc).
First thing I've tackled is the bodywork. The back bumper was badly cracked, drivers door is dented above the wing mirror, drivers door frame/pillar is dented (it was also sticking out so wouldn't pass the MOT), drivers side wing/arch is dented and the passenger side wing/mirror was replaced by a previous owner, but never painted, so started to rust, so that'll be painted as well.
Few pics to start -
Once the bodywork is finished I'll be looking at getting some wheels and some minor mods.
I'll keep updating on here anyway.

Quick update on the progress...
Finally got round to filling and shaping the drivers door pillar, so that's got primer on it and is ready for paint now. The drivers door has also been shaped and is now ready for paint, so all of the panels are ready for paint now.
I managed to find a set of steelies that fit the car, so I've decided to keep these for now and just make them look a bit better by spraying them matte black. As I said before, I'll be looking to get some Peugeot wheels eventually, but these will do for now.
The wheels are primed and ready for the matte black paint. My dad thinks they'll look better if I leave them grey  !

get some 106 rallye centre trims and make a 206 rllye as they never made one

Quick Update...
As I said before, the rear bumper has been taken off because of a big crack on the drivers side corner, which has now been repaired and painted:
The pillar has also been repaired and painted:
The door has also been repaired and painted:
The steelies have been nicely refurbed:
And the drivers side wing has been painted and lacquered:
Once the car is ready for the MOT, I think it'll need a good clean and valet...
Just need to get the rest of the panels lacquered and get some tyres for the MOT, and it'll be pretty much finished!
Plans for the future?
I've decided I'm going to go for a tidy/slightly modified look. I haven't got the time to properly modify it in a style I would like (euro/smooth), but at the same time I think it'll look pretty boring just standard. The steelies are only temporary because I'm looking at getting some Nimrods, and I've already debadged the boot to give it a smoother look. After that, I might look at getting some phase 2 lamps front and back depending on how easy they are to swap.

Yeah the steelies do look a bit better with a bit of paint!
Quick Update...
Managed to get everything lacquered today, so the car is ready to be put back together tomorrow. Got the back bumper back on today as well, so it's already looking a bit better.
Also got some new tyres because two of the original ones were completely bald.

is that a fiesta in the back ground? good work so far.
when you sprayed the pillar how much of it did you re paint? just where yo repaired? what ccolour code is your car? looks gloss and i didnt think you laqured gloss?

Yeah it's an old Fiesta, but it's not mine. It's a project that my Dad's mate is doing.
Most of the paint repair work was done by my Dad. He does car bodywork for a living, and mostly only does small to medium repairs (SMART Repairs).
Most of the panels were repaired by just painting the damaged area and then blending into the rest of the panel. The only ones that weren't done this way were the wings, because both of them needed fully painting.
I'm not sure what the paint code is, but it's just a solid black colour. When my dad looked at the paint code and looked at the ingredients for the mix, there were no metallic flakes or anything, just solid black. When it comes to lacquering, it depends on which paint you buy. I'm not an expert on paints, but I'm pretty sure you can buy some paints that can be sprayed straight on and don't need lacquer, and some paints that need lacquer afterwards. The paint system my dad uses needs lacquer for most of the painting that you do.
For the wheels we used a matte/satin black paint, which we sprayed straight on, and didn't lacquer, which gave it the satin finish.

Well, you have just answered all my questions 
You and your dad have done a good job, it looks so shiny 
My drivers door needs a respray as it has lacquer peel and looks shocking, seeing yours makes me want to sort mine out all the more

Update...
Managed to get a lot of the car put together today, both of the wings are on, the drivers door is back on and the front bumper is back on.
Fitted the mirror back onto the driver's door first -
When putting the drivers door and wing back on, I made the mistake of putting the wing on first, which covered the bolts that hold the door on -
So I had to remove the wing, fit the door, and then put the wing back on again.
Got the door and wing back on, then fitted the bumper -
I quickly fitted one of the wheels as well, just to see how they looked on the car. I think it looks pretty good with the black wheels on the black car -
I was planning on fitting everything back together today, but when I tried to fit the drivers headlight, two of the brackets were broken, so I'm going to have to go somewhere to get a new one. I'll probably go to a scrapyard or something and try and find a decent one. I also need to get a new passenger seat because the reclining mechanism on mine has broken.
I'm off on Wednesday and Thursday this week, so I'll probably get some work done then and post another update.
