think you should trying earthing it better if its just slotted under, attach a bit of cable to yellow wire and hold other end on bare metal on the car see if works then.

Ok will try tommorow also the motors on the morettes arnt working am I right in thinking I can swap the crystal ones over?

worse comes to it i can have a look at the wiring for a few beer tokens  if you get stuck
yes motors should swap over.
