Did you have ignition on? Might be no good if its a cheap one.

Does your ABS light come on?

You have done the obvious & checked for blown fuses for the ESP system?

Sounds like it's new com 2000 time Laughing

Euro Car parts will do you a new Valeo com 2000 pretty cheap, well cheaper then Peugeot main dealer.

ESP steering angle sensor is built in to the com unit.

206 with ESP is pretty rare & the com 2000 units are silly money new from Peugeot.

Have you tried searching "esp fuse"?

Most of the time when no one answers a question it's because the answer can be found somewhere on the forum just by searching.
