Hi guys, im new to the 206 and im not really used to it so i just wanted to make sure with other ownera if my gearstick is ment to wobble so much? And question 2: why is it so difficult for me to put it into second and third gear without it scraping? Thanks

Could be synchromesh on 2nd and 3rdgear on its way out mine did that in my old escort that's what it was could be something else I'm sure someone on here will know or atleast have an idea

check gearoil level
check gear linkage
check rear engine mount
if all of the above is fine then prepare to strip the box

the c.v joint shouldnt affect gear selection. as above check your levels and linkage. the linkage usually wears quite badly. if the clutch isnt clearing fully that may cause selection issues. take it to a garage to get it checked out if your not confident.
