im in swindon, and have meet vortech-s and a few others on route to a meet in birmingham, im alway up for a meet in and around the swindon area, actully looking at setting something up in the swindon area as soon as i get my hdi gti back (turbo blowing ftw lol). probably looking at the end of july, as my birthday is the 27th and i have that weekend off work. so would anyone be interested in a meet, on sunday the 29th july in swindon, thinking meet at coate water, then maybe travel throught town to the megabowl, and have a few games. i can sort food from domino's (staff discount, so 50% off), which is about a 5 min drive from mega bowl. vortech you up for it.... (late bday meal for myself) |
My birthday 26th!
I am actually in Bristol on that Sunday but for a meal and drinks with my gf and her uni mates so wont be able to make Swindon at that point.
If you guys do arrange one, give it a few weeks notice, get a list together of attendees and I am sure it will be a cracking meet

I am trying to sort out a decent poll as currently cant seem to make one multiple choice.
Unfortunately I am busy every weekend in July as I am helping my Nan move house then I am moving house!
Will get something sorted shortly

i used to organise meets for the southwest for quite a while but havnt done it for a few years after the site crashed i enquired about being area rep again and was told i had to write an essay on why i was suitable for the job which i thought was a bit pathetic so i didnt bother there is quite a few of us in the devon area that get on quite well and go to shows and stuff together so would be up for a meet |
I did write to someone on here too about becoming a rep for Plymouth and surround areas however never got a response as i was told there was a 're-jig' with all the area reps etc?

You dont have to be the rep to organise meets in all fairness.
Not against the law.
If we can get a good list going of where people live, then get a couple of meets going around the area we will have a good case to go forward to get reps sorted in the right areas.
Someone in the Plymouth area is needed, and someone up here.
If we work together on this and actually get some meets going then we can worry about who are the official reps.
Vortechs is currently the rep and is working with me to get things sorted

Anyone know if Shortstuff sold his 206 and is still active?
The official South West location thread hasn't been updated for a while either.
I'm certainly interested in meeting some of you 'orrid lot so anyone know who our rep is these days?

I'm still the rep. whatever! He's still not sold his 206 yet I believe.
If you have ideas, let me know and I'll create an official thread.
But a point of note, it's getting near Golfing time! Which means, a post will soon be going up for the Official 206Info Crazy Golf Tournament of 2013 (to be hosted in January!)
