I was told that after a particular year all black 206s were EXL.
Does anyone know if this is true and if it is - what year was it?
Trying to buy a tailgate, but the guy doesnt know the VIN or the reg plate of it.

Being the picky sort - I really hate it when people say this. Yes we all know what it looks like - but we all want to see the condition that yours is in! | |

Phase 2's Peugeot 206 (2003–2009)

Would I notice the difference?
The guy says it was a 2001, which would make it a Phase 1, so the owner must have added a phase 2 bootlid plastic strip thingy above the reg plate.
