Head-bolts will need to be torqued-up to 25Nm first (torque wrench) then stage two is angle-tighten 270 deg (angle gauge).
All bolts have to be done in a specific order and you need to study a Haynes manual first, then pray you don't do more harm than good. Valve-clearance adjustment is a must as well imho and that requires skill and trial and error depending on the condition of the specific engine.

it has pretensioner in the timing belt kit so it doesn't need anything special.

Yes, that's right: 'Boom, snapy-snapy' |
Thank you thats what i needed to know, the seal around the head gasket is leaking a lot of oil i have basic knowledge with engines but one thing ive never done is a head gasket, like i said i dont want to stop half way to find that i dont have the right tool im going to lock myself in the garage and not come out until its done, i dont feel the need to skim it as i dont think its that bad i would just change the seal but while im there i might aswell change the gasket.
