hi . i bought a 206 1.1 litre 2000 model the other day . when i was drivng around my estate i was in 2nd gear and when i went to put it into first it was grinding mad . but when i put car into netrul and when i go take off in first gear it doesnt grind anyone know the problem here?

Was you still moving when you tried putting it in first?
