Only seems right that I start a new project thread on my recently purchased 180.
Spec is as follows:
05 plate
68950 miles
wheels powdercoated black

rear lowered professionally by -30mm
406 auto dimming rear view mirror

sp fuel cap
sp black alloy front grille with 207 sp badge
partial debadged tailgate
bosch aero wiper blades
clutch and cambelt already replaced
pics from the ebay advert
All this for the bargain price of £1800
couple of quick pics I took before work this morning so not the best of quality
on the list of to do's/to get is the following:
janspeed system to replace the worn factory system
fit my alpine hu
cupra r splitter
k&n typhoon with powdercoated pipe
and much more that i can't be arsed to put up

it certainly drives alot better than my old gti and the ride is so smooth which surprises me as the car does look lowered but it glides over any bumps. No not put my foot down yet mate, taking my time to get used to her.
1 thing I am curious about, is there a switch to make the mirrors fold in when you lock the car? Seen it on my brothers but when I lock mine they stay as normal

You need to get the BSI option enabled for that my old one did it but my current has that option disabled.
You can still do it manually though by twisting the adjuster ( :

Yeah there's a few things you can get enabled
I'm 99.9% sure mine did it on lock on my old one, it was only getting in to this one that I noticed things lol

I'm gonna look into that then because that would be good I normally fold mine in every time I park it somewhere manually so this will save all that p**sing about with the switch each time

well a good project thread always starts with a good wash, so it was only right that I wash my new 180, still needs a full polish but that can wait for another day
noticed a few things which need to be sorted, sp grille has come away from a clip, washer jets seen better day's, front lion badge and sp fuel could be doing with spraying black
