ok so i had my wishbone replaced in august this year and the new one is already on its way out.
i just wanted to know that is it that the last garage put in a cheap wishbone or is there something else that is causing the wishbone to fail. (passenger side)

before this i had the wishbone replaced around April so im guessing that even a cheap wishbone should last longer than this time period so there must be another cause.

thanks

Some last months and months and some last weeks, cheap bottom arms are a gamble, and if you've seen what happens when the ball joint gives up in some cases i bet you'd want decent ones.

Dont forget passenger side usually gets the ditches and drains etc nearest the curb ( in the uk anyway )
unless you try and avoid them.

As has been said cheap wishbones tend not to last, much more worthwhile fitting genuine/lemforder/motaquip items.

It seems ive been lucky i got some 3 years ago, they were only cheap ebay ones but there still holding out to this day, but for how much longer is just a matter of time.

Go to any forum and they will all be discussing the merits(?) of cheap ebay suspension components. Pay cheap pay twice.

I got QH wishbones for a good price and great service so far.
