Hopeing to change cambelt, wp, aux belt etc. on the Mrs' pug next week.
It has a different aux-belt tensioner than mine which has the old system with the 'hydraulic piston and spring' with the black boot cover.
1) Where do I grab it to push back and loosen the belt to take-off.
2) How does it lock into place (square pin again?) Pic showing hole would be great.
Cheers

Is it not the type that you just use a spanner the lever it away from the belt?

Yes I think it is but do you grab the bolt?
On mine it has two square holes on the assembly; one to put a 3/8" drive bit in it, and the other to slot-in a square pin (door handle) to lock it.
I don't want to have to say: "I've got some good news and some bad news..." to her again.

Is it the type with a T50 in the centre, and a 24mm nut round the edge?
Undo the T50 with the socket and an 8mm spanner (as usually you cant get a ratchet on the end of it) then just move it upwards

This is the aux belt tensioner not cam belt yes?
I think it has a nut in the middle of the roller, do I just grab on there with a spanner and push back?
And where's the locking slot?
