Hello My new friends, Its me again... Embarassed

Getting addicted to this site aswell as one Macca linked me to.

When driving with the air vents opens, occasionally I get horrible fumes coming though the vents. This can be because someone has lots of smoke coming from their exhaust, or occasionally I believe my clutch, if left fully pressed down while waiting for a light to change and being to lazy to shift into neutral, sometimes that can send fumes through the vents.

Its not so bad when its cool air blowing through, but when its hot air, that can be nasty!

As winter is here/approaching really fast, i'll be having the heating on more.

So am I an eeejit? Can i improve the cabin air quality?

Thanks again all!!!

Soon my car will be like new again with your help Smile Cool

Installed it today! I was impressed at the speedy delivery, though puzzled as to why they sent it in such a huge box! Must of cost them on p+p!

Fitted in 2 mins and so far the air is much cleaner, no clutch smell or exhaust fumes from other cars!

All for £5.40. BaRgAiN!

Just noticed that there are TWO version of the pollen filter for a 1.4

There is:

Which I bought and have installed and:

Which has the rubber surround like the original one had. The new one is just paper and very flimsy. It fit fine though...

Guessing it should be okay but don't want to create a larger problem for myself out of stupidity!
