Hi everybody

I think my 4 months-old ignition coils are failing Shocked (had to buy a new ones)

I need to check them but it's hard to find another Gti 180.

I would like to know if I can use coils from any 2.0 Peugeot/Citroen with the 6-pin connection. Or maybe Gti 180 uses specific ignition coils?

The conector should be like this

and the coils look like this

Thanks for any info Smile

goes on three cylinders when warms

I get P0300 code, and spark plugs are OK (checked)

any other reason to be on 3 cyl?

Might be, but P0300 seems a ignition failure, and the mechanic thinks it's not injectors thing... Confused

I may open another topic regarding the problem, but at the moment I would like to check if it's ignition coils, so any info regarding the compatibility issue would be great.

That code is a very generic code, I've had it several times before now, it's been coil pack and injectors.

As for using another coil, im 99.9% certain the 180 run's a different pack to the 138.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

the problems appears after 2 minutes of warming up.
