What are the differences between poverty model 206 hdi and the HDI GTI?

Sorry I meant what differences like suspension, brakes and interior etc

I was told about the problems etc but bought one anyway, suffered the DPF problem and had the whole thing removed.

Cheers

Do you mean the difference between the Hdi Gti or the petrol Gti?

If the Diesel one then :

The 206 Hdi is
90 Bhp and 205 Nm ..... This is a 2.0 non intercooled

The Hdi Gti is
110 Bhp and 245 Nm ...... This is a 1.6 has a small intercooler. Also this engine is set up differently (turbo is at the front )

A lot of people on here will tell you the 1.6 is a waste of time due to the problems they cause.
Clutch ,flywheel, particle filter so on Smile

I'm sure with the right mods you could make it run okay but depends on how deep your pockets are Smile

I'm sure of missed bits feel free to add to it Wink

Regarding it running okay, 65.7 MPG is totally fine with me Smile no need for it to do anything else than that! That's what my other car is for.

Sport = cloth seat's with either blue or red trim on them. spec wise there isn't a great deal between them (HDI GTI / HDI 1.6 sport) other than the lack of half leather...

Don't some Sport models have that horrible grey dashboard? No auto wipers either.

I asked for the differences in suspension, brakes and interior.

I've already had all the information regarding costs of next breakdown - that wasn't my question.

Thank you Edward and Dillon your comments are appreciated.

I'll throw my 2 penny's worth in.. a clutch change on a HDi isn't mission impossible.. but on a GTi HDi labour can take up to 10 hours. Laughing
