Heya guys..

I have a 53 plate 206 gti180 & since the other day my temp gauge on the dash has been intermittently cutting out for a few seconds and then coming back on and cutting out again

I've made sure the coolant is topped up & checked the fuses but still can't see what's wrong

Would it be a case of needing a new sensor do you think? Or could it be something else?

Also im worried my fan may not work because of this?

Any help is much appreciated Smile thanks in advance

Its a wiring fault or a thermostat needing renewing ...put a thermostat in and check for earth connection problems then check for readings with a multimeter or test lamp on the wires to the temp sensor and see wot u get......
failing this u need to get the codes checked mate.
